Since a name becomes the prime most identity and the index indicator of a person, the names hold a great significance while they are being selected for the babies. It is believed in Hindu mythology that name can certainly decide upon the destiny of a person. Usually this belief is of great consideration for the parents; hence they select the name for their baby with great thought and consideration. The significance of a baby's name in respect to his personality or destiny can be estimated over following factors-

Many parents are of the opinion that a religious name will bestow the spiritual and religious blessings over the baby, for their entire life. Religious parents who name a child this way are hopeful that their child will grow up to be a protected person and remain blessed with religious blessings.

Mystical Aspect

In the mystical aspect, several ancient beliefs hold that a name has innate power and meaning that can harness the power in one's life. It is also believed that names are full of hidden vibrations that help in shaping the native's personality.
